Who I am, and how I can help you

I teach colour to realist artists who want to be able to match the colours they see, mix any colour accurately, and move forward with creating beautiful work of their own.

I'm a realist painter and I'm mostly self taught.

When I started learning to paint realism seriously, there were a lot of hurdles to overcome. But none so difficult as colour.

Eventually, through meeting Graydon Parish, I discovered Munsell. It unlocked colour for me.

After working with it for a number of years, I reached a point where I realised that colour really doesn't have to be hard.

All you need is a practical approach to colour.

Now I'm making a living as an independent artist and my dream has come true. I believe it can for you too, but not if you're held back by difficulties at the easel - especially when those problems can be solved.

Realistic colour is most artists' biggest problem. I can help you solve it.
